Less than a month and I'm back with an encore! Mostly because I have perfectly precious news to share...and a little braggin' to do. More on that later.

Since last time..

Hubs took me on a date. Boy was it a good one. Think scallops coquille.

Hubs took me on another date. Lee Brice and the Waterville Fair.

We braved the annual Sanderson camp out and let me tell ya,

There are strange things done under the Roosevelt sun
By the families who camp its shores.
The Wilbur lights have seen quite crazy sites
But the craziest they ever did see
Was a man on a chair
 bolted to a pair
of old school waterskiis.

Yes it's true.

We also enjoyed more than our fair share of relaxing

 wakeboarding
friendly tube wars

tiny baby snuggling

one-of-a-kind friendships
 and oh so lovely sunsets.

And the best news of all! We came home to meet our adorable niece. Congrats to Josh, Trese and Branson on beautiful baby girl Quinn!

sweet sweet summertime

I said I'd be back in August. At the time I meant it more as a joke. Turns out I really am that bad about updating my blog.
In the past few months we've managed to eat a few s'mores, spend some lovely hours on the lake, survive one short early morning hike, make a weekend trip out of 1066 miles and thoroughly enjoy our friends and family.
Exactly what summer is all about.

A snippet of our days

Well. Looks like my two months are up! So, here are a few of the changes our little world has seen since last time...

Summer has hit the valley! It's absolutely amazing. We had to endure torrential downpours to get to the sunshine, but it's here now. Hopefully to stay.

I've officially sat through my last lecture of nursing school. Next monday is my final exam. I will sit for my boards in a month or so and that will be it!

I'm employed. I'll be joining the cardiology department of our medical center. Can you say clinical cardiac electrophysiology!?

We also took another quick trip to Seattle. It would appear that we do that often. Jason had a conference and Leah drove up from Portland to keep me company. We did a little shopping, eating, site seeing and seagull feeding.

We've been loving this awesome weather. Mostly because it offers an excuse to eat loads of icecream.

Here's a little evidence of this years downpours

Dan stayed with us the weekend of the Crouch wedding. The boys couldn't resist the lego urge. They claimed to be setting them up for the "kids"

Apparently B is a lego fan as well!

We came away from Chelan last week feeling like such a privileged people! Looking forward to another wonderful time at Ronan this weekend.

Until August,  Sue

April. It's here and passing quickly. My faithful readers tell me its been 2 months since I've blogged. I don't believe them. Everytime I upload photos I think about how they could fit into a post. Producing the post. Not so simple. I've considered consulting my brother-in-law to design the perfect system for me to get past this. But in the mean time. Every two months it is.

The sun started to produce a little warmth here in the valley, so we were anxious to get out for a little hiking.

Snowshoes were not included in our plan so we decided to drive through Entiat and see how we felt about the area.

Their welcoming was incredible.

We also took a trip over the mountains to meet the Korolls. Seattle performed wonderfully and poured the majority of the weekend. But we did get our fill of Ivars fish and chips so no one is complaining.

The next weekend we crossed the other mountains and spent some time in Montana. Joel came along for the ride. It was awesome. The Sandersons joined us from Chelan. Leah from portland. Brian and John from Bozeman, Pops, 2 iPhones and the Moron game. All the makings for one long crazy out of control weekend.

I could do this forever. It's trying to move my arms for the next week that kills me.

These little boys are beyond adorable. They get me everytime. And lets not forget their Aunty Leah.

Owen. Ever the sweetie. Made sure I got all my vegetables for the day.

I know. It's not April yet. Nor has it been 2 weeks since my last post, but I have heaps of homework (literally) so I'm finding ways to procrastinate. Uploading pictures to share with you was the method of choice.
Canada treated us well. I managed to put down 3 Tim Hortons maple dips in 2 very quick days. Craving another one already.  Roadtrip anyone?
Poutine. It's a Canadian thing.

Vancouver on a gorgeous sunny day

The Korolls

We had a quick week at home and then it was off to Spokane to attend a post-holiday holiday party for Vision Source optometrists. Very exciting. Very upscale. Very out of our element.
We loved seeing Brian and Alicia and their adorable children as well as aunt Sue and uncle Doug on Sunday, then rushed home to cheer on Sarah's beloved Packers in the Superbowl. Even if they had previously barely beaten our Bears' third string quarterback. I promise you Sarah it won't happen again.

10 seconds is never long enough
who really knows how to run self timers anyhow?
You can't see us in this one but it's much better. Take my word for it.

By the way, I very much appreciated each and every one of your comments. I promise I wasn't playing "tell me I'm pretty," but if you want to mention something about that next time...
