Jason finished all his tests for the week, so on Thursday we headed downtown with some friends to relax and enjoy the city. The Chicago Marathon takes place on Sunday so we are expecting the city to be crowded this weekend. About 45,ooo people run the race and they expect 1.5 million spectators! They are blocking off quite a few of the streets as well. Parking is insane so we rode the bus instead. It stops right outside our apartment complex which makes the trip to downtown very convenient.
We ate at an interesting little Mexican place. Very reasonable for the city and the food was good as well!
