Sunshine....summertime?

We have noticed the leaves quickly changing, summer fleeting..winter coming, and decided we better get outside before it becomes too cold! We have had beautiful weather and Chicago boasts 20 miles of lake front beaches and parks, so we've been trying to make good use of those miles with our recently purchased roller blades. There is an upper trail that runs through the parks, as well as a lower trail that goes right along the water. We decided to stick to the upper trail, for fear that I may end up in the lake!
Jason when we first got to the trail...
...typical, he should have stayed by the tree:) Actually I was quite impressed with his roller blading skills. He was much more confident than myself!
Finally, a good one!

Swanky blades! They look really smooth - even from the pictures. Maybe that's cuz the wheels actually look round, whereas mine have big chunks out of them from hitting rocks. Anyway - kudos on the helmets. ha ha. Looks like fun!

I LOVE IT! That is absoulutely fabulous. I am glad I am not the only one with a fear of landing in the lake/river while on roller blades. Yeah...I have to agree with Beth. Love the helmets are those from the PJFJ kit?
