Knowing Jason would have a lighter school load this weekend we decided to tackle a few projects we had in mind. We have been debating whether or not we should paint our apartment and decided to go for it! Neither of us have much interior painting experience so it was a slight shot in the dark. We went to Home Depot, picked colors, bought paint, and started in!
The color was a little lighter than expected, but it quickly grew on us.

We thought it would be fun to accent with a darker color...
The semi-final result! We still have some touching up to do. We bought paint for our other walls as well and plan on attacking them soon!
In need of more counter space as well as storage room, we bought a nice little do-it-yourself kit. This one I attempted while Jason was in class, however I did have to have him rehang the doors:)
Our kitchen only has one small drawer, so the added drawer is very nice!

How inspiring! We have paint that needs to be put on walls but, for some reason it is still in the cans?? Maybe we're waiting for it to get cold to tackle indoor projects.
By the way - You two are adorable!!
